Landscape Labourer (& Driver)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Experienced Labourer to join our growing team. This is a physically demanding role, requiring a strong work ethic and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

The Role:

As an Experienced Labourer, you will assist in the completion of landscape construction projects by carrying out a variety of tasks, including:

  • Operating various tools and equipment to complete specific job tasks.
  • Collecting and delivering equipment and materials from the works yard, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Supporting skilled team members in soft and hard landscaping activities.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining a professional image.
  • Adhering to the company’s Health & Safety Policy at all times.

Landscape Trainer

Tenure: Part-Time, Permanent

This role will support the growth and development of our team by providing hands-on training and mentoring, helping to “grow our own” skilled landscapers.

The Role:

As a Landscaper Trainer, you will play a vital role in equipping our team with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of landscaping. Working closely with both new and existing staff, you will deliver training in all aspects of landscaping, from the fundamentals to advanced techniques, ensuring our team is prepared to meet our exacting standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering tailored training sessions for staff at varying skill levels.
  • Providing on-the-job coaching and mentoring to support practical learning.
  • Assessing trainees’ progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Sharing your expertise in soft and hard landscaping, tools, equipment and plant management.
  • Promoting health and safety best practices across all training activities.

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping, including soft and hard landscaping.

  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the landscaping industry.

Experienced Hard Landscaper

Salary:  From £31,000 per annum, Bonuses & Company Vehicle (DOE)

The Role:

As an Experienced Landscaper, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality landscaping projects across a variety of domestic and commercial sites. You will work from design through to installation, using your expertise to bring clients’ visions to life. This role requires strong skills in both hard and soft landscaping, along with the ability to lead or support a team on-site.

Your Responsibilities

Working with clients to understand their needs and contributing to customised garden design solutions.

• Carrying out hard landscaping installations, including patios, decking, fencing, retaining walls and other structural elements.

Delivering soft landscaping tasks such as planting, turfing, pruning and nurturing trees, shrubs and plants.

Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards.

Leading and collaborating with team members and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.

Operating and maintaining tools, machinery and equipment safely and effectively.

Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and company standards.

About You:

You are motivated, creative and take great pride in your work. You have a solid background in landscaping and are confident working with both hard and soft landscape construction. You are reliable, professional and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in landscaping with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Full, clean UK driving licence.

Proficient in all aspects of hard and soft landscaping.

Strong knowledge of materials, tools, equipment and landscaping machinery.

Experience supervising or leading a team on-site.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in all weather conditions.

Strong understanding of health and safety requirements on-site.

Strategic mindset with a willingness to contribute to the company’s long-term growth.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working on bespoke or large-scale landscaping projects.

Additional qualifications in horticulture, landscaping or construction.

Experience reading and interpreting site plans/design drawings.

Competence using specialist landscaping equipment or machinery.

Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are now seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our expanding team. This role is physically demanding and requires someone who can work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining a high standard of work.

The Role:

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the upkeep and presentation of commercial and private outdoor spaces. Your duties will include:

Carrying out routine grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming and leaf blowing.

Maintaining shrub beds, planters and borders, including weeding, mulching and planting.

Using and maintaining a variety of grounds maintenance machinery and tools.

Reporting any site issues, damage or irregularities to supervisors.

Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a professional standard.

Adhering to the company’s Health & Safety Policy at all times.
